Making a WISP Work

IRS requires that tax preparers have a Written Information Security Plan (WISP) in place by the end of 2023. An IRS consultant has developed a model WISP, which essentially is a list of best practices for protecting taxpayer data. This session will walk through the model WISP, exploring how to make sense of it and how to put good practices in place without being burdensome. The presentation will discuss how to "fill in the blanks" and create a plan painlessly for your practice.
