Learn how to cope with community property issues that invade your married filing separately and surviving spouse tax returns. This program will cover how to allocate income, deductions and withholding for Form 8958 -- and what to do when you have incomplete information. It will also discuss how to recognize community and separate property, how community property interests are disclaimed and how to establish step-up basis for inherited community property.

Zoom meeting. Registration required. PTIN # and PTIN name (exactly as it appears on your PTIN registration) required.

There will polling questions which must be answered in order to get CPE.

Certificates will be provided by email within a week of meeting.
