Sherrill Trovato explains how to move beyond tax preparation into controversy representation, starting with how to bring non-filers into compliance, even when records are missing or incomplete, and discusses engagement letters necessary for preparation and representation, the Cohan Rule and how to research relevant authority.  Sherrill provides an overview of representing taxpayers administratively before the IRS including exam, collection, and appeals.  A brief review of options available if resolution isn't possible concludes the discussion.
